Pollio leads Tigers at Raider Rumble

Liza Pollio brought home 2 podium finishes as Georgetown finished 4th at the Raider Rumble, hosted by Lindsey Wilson on Friday.

Pollio delivered Georgetown's best finish of the day: 2nd place in the 1500m with a time of 5:32.45. She followed that with a 3rd place run in the 800m in a time of 2:42.04.

Jenna Tipton finished 4th in the 400m in a time of 1:09.07. Dannie Bruce continues to improve as she ran 5th in the 200m with a rin of 28.02 seconds. Neveah Wright was just behind in 7th at 28.73. Shelby Shepard ran 10th in both the 800m and 1500m races.

Phoebe Tripure brought home an 8th place finish in the discus with a best throw of 21.59m.

The Tigers are next in action next Saturday at the Wilmington College Invitational in Wilmington, OH.
