Tigers Close Appalachian Challenge in 13th
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The Georgetown College cross country teams tuned up for the Mid-South Conference Championships by running at the NAIA Appalachian Challenge hosted by Tennessee Wesleyan on Friday.
The women's team finished 14th of 18. Liza Pollio paced the Tigers with a time of 19:29.0, placing 57th overall. Elizabeth Lavinder, Cameron Reynolds, Katelynn Gaddis, Celia Reigelman, Isabel Wilber, Rebecca Kainer and Austyn Hansen were also tested on the 5K course.
The men's side finished 13th of 23. Brody Miller took the top time for the Tigers, finishing in 26:26.5, 77th overall. Bode Byall, Trevor Baker, Layne Clark, Bryant Curtis, Riley Morris, Andrew Pence, Asa McCord, Josiah McMahan and Elijah Reed were also tested on the 8K course.
