Vivius Named River States Conference Defender of the Week

GEORGETOWN, Ky. – Georgetown College men's volleyball freshman Luis Vivius has been named the River States Conference Defender of the Week.

Vivius, a middle blocker from Barranquilla, Colombia, put up 15 blocks on the week with four block solos and 11 block assists, helping the Tigers to another 3-0 week.

Vivius added 15 kills and three digs with a .464 attacking percentage to push the Tigers to victory three times.

Georgetown completes a three-game road trip at Rio Grande tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m. before hosting both Indiana East and Midway on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
