Szewinski Named River States Conference Defender of the Week

GEORGETOWN, Ky. – Georgetown College men's volleyball junior Adam Szewinski has been named the River States Conference Defender of the Week.

Szewinski, a middle blocker from Częstochowa, Poland, was a threat on both sides of the ball this week, helping the Tigers to a 3-0 week.

Szewinski produced 15 total blocks with four block solos and 11 block assists on the week. He added nine digs, helping Georgetown take down No. 7 St. Thomas to cap a perfect week.

Georgetown jumps back into River States Conference play this weekend when it takes on Cumberland on Friday, March 20, at 8:00 p.m. before battling #4 Campbellsville on Saturday.
