Poynter Finishes 8th in Triple Jump for Tigers at Friday Night Spikes

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Georgetown College men's and women's indoor track and field team competed in the Friday Night Spikes meet in the SRC Fieldhouse at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology on Friday night.

The Tigers finished seventh of seven scoring teams, with Ethan Poynter earning the Tigers' only points of the evening. Poynter turned in an 11.61m in the triple jump, which was second-best in program history. In the hurdles, Poynter finished with the third-best time in school history, while collectively seven others placed in the record books as well.
