Georgetown College men's soccer falls on the road to No. 14 Lindsey Wilson College for the only setback thus far this season. The Tigers (9-1-1, 4-1-1) answered the Blue Raiders (7-1-1, 6-0-0) second goal to pull within one just before the break. However, the home team notched two more in the final 45 minutes for a 4-1 win Saturday.
Luca Zellman pushed a ball in off an Alessandro Carnicelli pass in the 38th minute for the Tigers lone goal. LWC jumped out with a goal in the first 10 minutes to take control. The team added the winning goal just two-minutes prior to GC finding the back of the net.
The Blue Raiders finished with 12 shots on frame to Georgetown's two. GC is back in action Wednesday at University of Tennessee Southern.
