Tigers Close Music City Classic Tied for 20th
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Georgetown College men's golf team closed up the spring season tied for 20th at the Music City Classic at the Hermitage Golf Club on Tuesday.
Carter Zutterman finished the two-day tournament with a 68-75-73=216 to finish in a tie for 29th. He shot a team-low 68 in the opening round.
Christian Clements, along with Laine Schulten and Mack King, all collected an eagle in the tournament.

CARTER ZUTTERMAN
Zutterman was four-under after the opening round, where he birdied holes one, two, and six on the front-9 as well as 18. He added three more birdies in the second round and was tied for 26th after the first day. Zutterman finished the tournament, dropping three spots to 29th after collecting three birdies on the day. He was just one over on the back-9.
CHRISTIAN CLEMENTS
Clements was even over the first round, birdieing hole 16 after going one over on seven. He was just one over for the day as he added three more birdies in round two and was tied for 37th place after 36 holes. Clements turned in another even par round by collecting two birdies and producing an eagle on hole 18. He finished in 37th.
LAINE SCHULTEN
Schulten highlighted day one with an eagle on hole 18, to pull even on the back-9 in the first round. He added three birdies to shoot a two-over 74. He put up a 75 in the second round after adding one more birdie to place tied for 63rd after the first two rounds. After a one-over performance on the front-9, Schulten's tournament ended with a seven-over back-9 despite a birdie on hole 18. He finished in 82nd.
BENNETT MYERS
Myers shot a 79 in the opening round with a birdie on hole seven. He added one more birdie on hole 18 in round two to finish with another 79. He was tied for 95th after day one. Myers fell seven spots on the leaderboard after turning in an 11-over day. He had two birdies in the final round, finishing 102nd.
MACK KING
King collected an 80 in the opening round with one birdie on hole 18. In the second round, he added another birdie on hole 16 to finish with an 85. He was in 104th after the first two rounds. King moved up one spot to 103 after carding three birdies and an eagle on hole eight in the final round of the tournament.
