Lewis Snags Mid-South Conference Player of the Week

GEORGETOWN, Ky – Georgetown College men's basketball senior Darien Lewis was named by the Mid-South Conference on Monday as the league's Offensive Player of the Week.

Lewis, a senior from Louisville, Kentucky, scored a team-high 24 points in the Tigers' victory at Cumberland on Saturday.

The guard shot 53.3% from the field, while splashing in four 3-pointers and pulling down eight rebounds in the win.

Lewis averages 11.4 points and 4.2 rebounds per game for Georgetown this season.

Georgetown is on the road at Lindsey Wilson (18-8, 6-4 MSC) for one final road test before hosting Campbellsville in Davis-Reid Alumni Gym on Saturday.
