Bishop Lands Third Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Selection
GEORGETOWN, Ky – For the third time this season, Georgetown College men's basketball senior Rashad Bishop has been selected by the Mid-South Conference on Monday as the Defensive Player of the Week.
Bishop, a senior from Louisville, Kentucky, averaged 10.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and two blocks for the Tigers in their 2-0 week.

In a 30-point blowout win over Union, Bishop put up 10 points and pulled down five rebounds in 18 minutes off the bench.
Bishop grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds against Washington Adventist, scoring all of his 11 points in the final 14 minutes of action.
Georgetown, on a four-game winning streak, opens Mid-South Conference play at No. 2 Freed-Hardeman on Thursday, January 8. Tip-off is set for 8:30 p.m. against the Lions.
