Isaiah Mason Tabbed Mid-South Conference Player of the Week

GEORGETOWN, Ky. – Georgetown College men's basketball senior Isaiah Mason was selected by the Mid-South Conference as the Defensive Player of the Week by the league office on Monday.

Mason, a senior from Bowling Green, Kentucky, averaged 15.5 points and 10.5 rebounds for the Tigers in their 2-0 week which included knocking off No. 14 LSU-Alexandria.

The senior had 20 points and a team-best 11 rebounds in the win over No. 14 LSU-Alexandira, including 12 points in the second half and OT period.

Mason finished off his double-double week with an 11 point and 10 rebound effort against Florida College.

Georgetown is on a seven-game winning streak and is back in action on Saturday, November 29 when it takes on the University of Mobile (7-1).

Tip-off with the Rams is set for 4:15 p.m. and will be the Tigers' first game as part of "The Show" tournament in Kingsport, Tennessee.
