Boyd has 25 in road win over Campbellsville
Georgetown College men's basketball blew Monday's game with Campbellsville University open behind a 16-2 run to start the second half. The No. 6 Tigers (7-1, 4-1) held a two-point edge at the break after Rashad Bishop broke a 32-32 tie with the final basket of the first half. Then rolled 79-65 to kick off a week of three games.
Kyran Jones started the run with two of his 16 points, he also added a new-career high 20 rebounds. Derrin Boyd dropped a game-high 25 points, including five three-pointers. Carson Newsome had 15 points and five assists.
Monday's stat breakdown:
