Boyd leads Tigers with 28

For the second straight game freshman Derrin Boyd scored a new career-high to guide the No. 1 Tigers to victory. Indiana University Southeast came on strong early, but faded late in the first half behind a barrage of points from Boyd and Kyran Jones. Georgetown won 82-72.

Tigers are back at Mid-South Conference play Saturday when they travel to Pikeville.
