Millinghaus leads Tigers over Shock
Shadell Millinghaus was a man on a mission Saturday in the night cap of the 2017 Central Bank Jim Reid Classic. The senior took a close battle with Washington Adventist University and blew it open with his game and career-high 35 points. He also snagged 10 rebounds for a double-double.
He had 21 of those in the first half as Georgetown went from trailing the Shock to holding a 15-point lead. The advantage doubled in the second half before GC picked up the 103-78 win for victory number 10.
Quan Poindexter added 15 points. Eljay Cowherd and Jeremiah Tisdale had 11 each, while Jacob Conway finished with 10.
The Tigers back in action 7 pm Tuesday hosting Indiana University Southeast.
