No. 1 Tigers finish regular season 10-0

For the third season in a row the No. 1 Tiger football team is Mid-South Conference champions. They also finished off a second straight perfect regular season, ninth time in program history. Georgetown College (10-0, 5-0) started slow on Senior Day at University of Virginia at Wise, but turned it on in the second half for the 49-27 win.

GC outscored the Cavaliers (3-8, 1-4) 21-7 in the final 30 minutes to lock up the No. 1 ranking for the postseason, which begins next Saturday. They scored twice in 16 seconds to erase a 14-7 deficit in the second quarter.

Neal Pawsat threw for three touchdowns and 247 yards, while the ground game ate up 275 yards behind Logan Osborne's 75 yards on nine carries.

Georgetown will start postseason play Saturday, Nov. 17 hosting a team to be announced Sunday afternoon.
