Esports Falls to Lebanon Valley College 3-0 in Valorant Championship Match
GEORGETOWN, Ky. – The Georgetown College Esports team lost in the Valorant championship match to Lebanon Valley College, 3-0 on Monday night.
Georgetown lost the first map 13-11, despite a team-high 26 kills from Nathan Litvin. Litvin carried the second-highest average combat score on the map while Reid Schulten produced 20 kills. LVC took three of the top five spots to close out the round.
In map two, Georgetown fell 14-12 while map three also went to LVC, 13-11. Schulten led all players with 26 kills and was the lone combatant in the 300s with an average combat score of 311 in the final map.
In their inaugural season, the Tigers went 14-12 overall, including a 12-1 mark during the spring term while playing Valorant.
