Bats Go Cold in Game Two

Bats Go Cold in Game Two

Josiah Zamora would get his seventh start of the year, and looked to be in control of the game for the most part. Zamora would go six innings, keeping the Tigers in the game as he would only allow three runs to score. TMU would score in the first inning, after only two batters, but Zamora would settle in. It would not be until the 6th when TMU would add more runs, thanks to an error by Zamora, and more timely hitting.

Christian Santillanes would be tasked with getting the last nine outs, and do the job, as he would only allow two base runners.

Following the eleven hits in game one, the Tigers bats would go ice cold, as TMU's starter was able to keep them off balanced, and frustrated at the plate. The Tigers would only be able to get four hits. To make things worse for the offense, the Tigers would only score via a balk in the fourth inning.

The Tigers are back in action this Sunday at 3 pm for the series finale.
