Deskins and Cazorla Power Tigers to Sweep

Game two was much like game one. The Tigers had another starter go six innings, as freshman Ashton Deskins made the start. Over the course of the six innings, he would only allow six hits and three runs to score. It did not look like he was going to make it much farther after the third inning. He would allow all three runs to score in that inning. Johan Castillo would make his first appearance out of the 'pen, to keep the game tied at three. After the Tigers took the lead in the top of the 8th, David Souza would come in to close the game out. He would set down three batters, to take the win.

The offense was led by Jose Cazorla, who would be responsible for two of the three earned runs. The most important run would be scored in the top of the 8th, when Cazorla would double home pinch runner Joey Lapolla. The offense would only have seven hits in the game, as PPU would introduce a new arm every inning.
